The Symphony Is Less Bitter

It's amusing: Writing a song about life's bittersweetness. The song is a smash (sweet). The writer (Ashcroft) get's no monetary reward (bitter). I don't want to go over the copyright dispute; it's well documented. The Verve's Richard Ashcroft writes one of the best songs of the 90's and gets screwed out of the royalties. Mick and Keith have decided to give the credit and money back to him. I don't think they are giving the back royalties back, but it's only rock and roll. I think they should have done that 20 years ago. Satisfaction. Sympathy. The Devil and a man of wealth and taste (Ashcroft). Rock on.
